Brilliant Little Brands
We are proud to be part of the Brilliant Little Brands Initiative.
This brilliant little idea began in April this year when a group of small UK businesses joined forces during the lockdown that affected each and every one of us.
The brainchild of Emily Bradley of boutique fashion company Pink Avocet, it was sparked by Covid-19 forcing fundraising charity events to be cancelled. While devastating for many small businesses who sell wares at these events, charities also started to suffer from a loss of funds. Emily didn't like that notion, so she came up with a way to raise charitable funds while we all wait patiently at home. Brilliant Little Brands was born with a goal to raise £1m.
The premise is simple. All brands involved donate 10% from all their Brilliant Little Brand sales to charity.
How it works
-
Choose the charity you would like to support. A calendar of virtual fairs runs throughout the year to highlight specific charities or choose from one of the 3 'Shop to Support' Charities that Brilliant Little Brand Supports
-
Visit www.brilliantlittlebrands.co.uk and browse the 100+ independent businesses, click through to their website and find the goodies you would like to buy online
-
At the checkout add your chosen code to highlight which charity you would like 10% of the sale to go to
-
The brand then collects and donates to the selected charity pots
