An Engineering Triumph
Caen Hill Locks were the solution to a tricky 237- foot uphill climb at the end of the 87-mile Kennet and Avon Canal.
The locks are set over 2 miles and take up to 5 hours to navigate by boat. Ample time to enjoy a cocktail or 3.
