The Dolmen
This long Damson liqueur cocktail is a devilishly fruity delight, inspired by The Dolmen, or Devil’s Den as it’s known to locals.
Ingredients:
- 1 part Wiltshire Liqueur Damson Liqueur
- 3 parts grapefruit juice
- 3 parts cranberry juice
- 1 part lemonade
Method:
Put all the ingredients into a tall glass topped with ice and serve with a wedge of lime. Can be made into a flask or jug by multiplying quantities.

An Ancient Burial Chamber
The Dolmen is an ancient burial chamber, or Dolmen on Fyfield Down. All that remains of the entrance are a capstone, two standing stones and two fallen stones.
Legend has it that the devil arrives at midnight with four ghostly oxen to try and lift the 17-ton capstone. It is also a long-held belief amongst local folk that you will summon demons to drink if you pour water into the capstone hollows.
