TVs Andy Clarke at Thame Food Festival
This year at the Thame Food Festival, none other than TV’s cocktail maestro, Andy Clarke, took centre stage with our peach liqueur in tow.
It’s always a thrilling feeling when our very own Wiltshire Liqueurs are selected by renowned personalities in the food and drink world. This year at the Thame Food Festival, none other than TV’s cocktail maestro, Andy Clark, took centre stage with our peach liqueur in tow!
The Peach and Cranberry Sour
A name that simply rolls off the tongue and is just as delightful on the palate. A cheeky fusion of sharp cranberry and zesty lime, mellowed perfectly by the velvety tones of our peach liqueur, this cocktail promises a sip that’s both refreshing and luxuriant.
- 3 parts cranberry juice
- 2 parts lime juice
- 1 part Wiltshire Peach Liqueur
A little something extra
If you’re looking to take your Peach and Cranberry Sour to the next level, Andy introduced a fabulous addition: egg white foam.
If you’re scratching your head wondering, “What’s egg white foam?” – it’s a classic cocktail technique where egg whites are shaken (typically with the rest of the cocktail ingredients) until they form a frothy, creamy foam. This foam adds a silky texture to your drink and a beautiful cloud-like layer on top.
Another Andy addition was sprinkling a few real cranberries on top. Not only do they add a burst of colour, but their tangy bite contrasts wonderfully with the smoothness of the foam and the rich depth of our peach liqueur.
The Peach Secret
Whether you’re a home mixologist or simply someone who enjoys a good drink, give Andy Clarke’s Peach and Cranberry Sour a go. And remember, the secret to its signature depth of flavour? A dash of Wiltshire’s Peach Liqueur.
Cheers to another successful year at the Thame Food Festival, and a big toast to Andy Clarke for showcasing the versatility of our liqueurs.
